What Applications Are CLR and CMR Light Abrasive Slurry Pumps Suitable For?
CLR and CMR light abrasive slurry pumps are mainly used to transport slurries with relatively low abrasiveness, finer particles, or milder operating conditions. Depending on actual conditions, they can be applied in mineral processing flows, fine particle slurry transportation, industrial suspension transfer, and other light abrasive slurry applications.
"Light abrasion" does not mean the medium has no abrasive effect at all. Whether the CLR and CMR series are suitable should still be evaluated by confirming the following conditions: main composition of solid particles; maximum particle size; particle sharpness; slurry solid content and density; medium temperature; pH value and corrosiveness; flow rate and head; and daily operating hours.
Rubber wet-end parts can be selected for specific ranges of abrasive and corrosive conditions, but their applicable temperature and chemical compatibility must be based on actual material data. Oil-bearing media, special chemical media, or high-temperature slurries should be verified separately prior to model selection.
