How to Choose Between CG and CGH Heavy-Duty Gravel Pumps?
Both CG and CGH belong to the heavy-duty gravel pump series; however, their specific performance ranges, structures, and application differences should be subject to your company's official technical documentation. It cannot be assumed that one model inherently offers a larger flow rate, higher head, or greater particle-passing capability solely based on the model letters.
When selecting between CG and CGH, the project's actual operating point should be determined first, including normal flow rate, maximum flow rate, required head, and pipeline conditions. Then, refer to the performance curve of the corresponding model to verify whether the operating point falls within the recommended operating range.
If the project involves replacing an existing pump, it is also necessary to verify the original pump model, installation dimensions, direction of rotation, inlet and outlet positions, coupling, baseplate, and drive equipment. Direct interchangeability between the new and old pumps cannot be assumed merely because they share the same discharge diameter.
