CG/CGH heavy-duty gravel pumps are primarily used to transport mixed media containing sand, gravel, slurry, and other solid particles. Depending on the specific model, they can be applied in sand and gravel mining, river dredging, port dredging, mine tailings discharge, land reclamation projects, and industrial sediment transport.
Compared with standard clean water pumps, heavy-duty gravel pumps must handle issues such as particle impact, abrasion, concentration fluctuations, and pipeline sedimentation. Therefore, model selection cannot rely solely on the pump's discharge size, motor power, or nominal flow rate; the medium properties and the entire conveying system must also be verified.
