What size particles can the CWN dredge pump transport?
The maximum solid size handled by the CWN dredge pump depends on impeller passages, suction/discharge ports, casing structure, and pump model. Without model and technical specifications, conveying solids or gravel of arbitrary sizes cannot be guaranteed.
Particle conditions require verifying more than just max size, including: primary particle size range, sharpness, hardness, oversize particle ratio, presence of wood, metal, or long fibers, slurry solids concentration/density, and settling tendency.
Passability does not ensure long-term suitability. Larger, harder, or sharper particles can accelerate impact and wear on the impeller, casing, and piping.
If media contain gravel, shells, construction debris, or other irregular solids, specify them during sizing. Intake screens, scalping, or other protective measures may be required.
