What Applications Are CLR and CMR Light Abrasive Slurry Pumps Suitable For?

CLR and CMR light abrasive slurry pumps are mainly used to transport slurries with relatively low abrasiveness, finer particles, or milder operating conditions. Depending on actual conditions, they can be applied in mineral processing flows, fine particle slurry transportation, industrial suspension transfer, and other light abrasive slurry applications.

"Light abrasion" does not mean the medium has no abrasive effect at all. Whether the CLR and CMR series are suitable should still be evaluated by confirming the following conditions: main composition of solid particles; maximum particle size; particle sharpness; slurry solid content and density; medium temperature; pH value and corrosiveness; flow rate and head; and daily operating hours.

Rubber wet-end parts can be selected for specific ranges of abrasive and corrosive conditions, but their applicable temperature and chemical compatibility must be based on actual material data. Oil-bearing media, special chemical media, or high-temperature slurries should be verified separately prior to model selection.

What are the common spare parts for rubber slurry pumps?
Common spare parts include impellers, rubber liners, pump casings, cover plates, shaft sleeves, seal parts, and bearing assemblies. Replacements need to be confirmed by pump type, model, part number, or drawing.
Can rubber slurry pumps be customized?
Yes. They can be configured or customized based on flow rate, head, rubber lining, sealing type, drive unit, inlet/outlet orientation, and installation conditions.
What are the differences among CLR, CMR, CMCR, CSPR, and CAHR?
Different models cater to specific installations and conditions: CLR and CMR: For light abrasive slurry transport. CMCR: For mill underflow and specific slurry duties. CSPR: For submerged or sump slurry handling. CAHR: For rubber-lined centrifugal pumping applications.
How to select the right rubber slurry pump?
Pump selection requires flow rate, head, slurry type, solids content, particle size, slurry density, temperature, pH value, suction conditions, and operating hours.
What is the purpose of rubber lining?
Rubber lining reduces wear and corrosion from slurries on the pump casing and wet ends. It suits moderate-temperature slurries with predominantly fine particles. Specific materials and lining structures depend on slurry concentration, particle size, temperature, and corrosiveness.
What applications are rubber slurry pumps suitable for?
Rubber slurry pumps mainly transport solid-laden slurries, tailings, mortar, and other mixtures. They suit mining, mineral processing, grinding, tailings handling, and industrial transport.
